ReplyDeleteDylan, you and Ellie have experienced more than most people do in a lifetime. What beautiful memories to hold in your heart forever. You have put together a beautiful story of an obviously amazing young woman. I've never had the pleasure of meeting Ellie but in knowing her mom Penny, I see the lovely resemblance. This video is a wonderful gift to all that love Ellie and a sweet story for those that didn't know her.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful video. What a beautiful girl. What a beautiful spirit. But what a painfully short life.
ReplyDeleteI only met Elie for a few minutes. How much I missed in not knowing her.
My heart goes out to my dear friend Penny and her husband Robert.
Thank you Dylan for giving us this possibility to "know" the Elie who was so loved by everyone she knew.

ReplyDeleteBut what a tragically short life.
I only met Elie for a few short moments. What a shame. I missed out on knowing someone extraordinary.
My heart goes out to my dear friend Penny and her husband Robert and now to you Dylan. Thank you for giving me the oportunity of "knowing" Elie a bit and seeing how she touched the lives of everyone she knew.

Dyl this video is incredible. I feel honored that I was able to spend just a few weeks with Ele. What Ele saw and achieved in such a short time is only a dream to most people. Thank you for sharing her experiences...it made me laugh and cry at the same time...but that big smile of hers is impossible not to smile back at.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are with you, Ele's family, your family and all your friends stretching from one side of the world to the other.

Dylan and Ele's family, You do not know me and I have never met Ele but my daughter had the pleasure of working alongside her at the Restaurant in Whistler. Elisha was devastated when I spoke to her on Skype and she said Ele was a lovely girl and great to work with. My thoughts and prayers have been with you all since. The video is beautiful Dylan, and Ele certainly knew how to enjoy life and make everyone around her happy. What a wonderful, special journey you shared with her. From personal experience losing someone very special and trying to accept life without them it has always been comforting to know they are with us forever spiritually and always in our hearts. Love to you all.

Absolutely beautiful, Dylan. Bawled all over again - and laughed at some of the hilarious adventures you had together. It was wonderful to witness, through you, how Ele lived with such a sense of fun, adventure and truly without fear.
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to you, along with Ele's family.

ReplyDeleteDylan as everyone has said, you have captured Ele's life perfectly.
ReplyDeleteIt breaks my heart watching this but at the same time makes me smile.
Ele you honestly were the most genuine and beautiful girl and it seems so unfair that you were taken so soon. I never thanked you enough for the times at METS, and I didn't give you a big enough hug the last time I saw you before you went away..
But I will always remember you Ele, and you will forever be in my heart.
Thinking of you Dyl, and Ele's family.
