Claire's Tattoo

Dear Ellie Loo,

On Thursday March 17th 2011 , I had this done in memory of you. It will always remind me of you, and will prompt others to ask about you, which I think will be nice as it will provide me with more opportunities to talk about you! I think you would have found the scenario within which the tattooing took place quite amusing, as it was a very Ellie situation. 

After sitting down for approximately only 10 minutes, the apprehension and anxiety that had built up prior to having it done led me to go into shock and faint. I was promptly surrounded by three staff members who fanned me with paper fans, cooled me with wet flannels, and fed me lemonade. The staff then rearranged half the shop interior to provide me with a seat that was adjusted for me to lie down for the remainder of the session…

I felt like a complete diva, and lets face it, being melodramatic was generally your area of expertise…;) By the time I had come to and began feeling better, I noticed the new apprentice at the establishment had in fact turned whiter in the face then me. The poor young man was probably frightened out of his lights and has permanent scarring from the event.
