This is a message from Ian, one of Ele's friends, to her:
"Hey Ele, just dropped by to tell you a (true) story I think you'd like…
I was volunteering at a residential conference/camp for kids in years 10 to 12 over the weekend, and at the Saturday night dance one of the first songs played by the DJs (who were dressed up as Daft Punk — no, really) was ‘Stronger’ by Kanye West. I thought of you, and I remembered Dyl describing, in his eulogy, how you loved and lived by the saying, ‘Dance like there's nobody watching, sing like there's nobody listening.’
Well, you know how reluctant to dance I've always been, even after a few drinks. Of course there was no alcohol at the conference, but when this song came on, I knew I had to dance. And so I danced, and I kept on dancing all night long. And as it turned out, *somebody* was watching, since I won the ‘Worst Dancer’ award at the end of the night, to universal applause. :)
I hope it won't be the last time that your memory inspires me to become a better person.
xo"
Thank-you Ian
